1. Day 1 Arrival in Cairo

   Our representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, assists with passport control and luggage, and transfers you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

2. Day 2 Pyramids, Sphinx and Sakkara

   Full-day tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza — Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos — and a close-up view of the Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara to explore the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt. Overnight in Cairo.

3. Day 3 Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo and sleeper train

   Visit the Egyptian Museum and the treasures of Tutankhamun, then the Hanging Church in Old Cairo and a stroll through Khan El Khalili bazaar. In the evening board the sleeper train to Aswan; dinner on board. (Breakfast, dinner)

4. Day 4 Aswan and Nile cruise

   Arrive in Aswan and board your Nile cruise. Visit the High Dam, take a boat to Philae Temple, and sail around Elephantine and Kitchener Island. Sail towards Kom Ombo. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

5. Day 5 Kom Ombo and Edfu

   Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, then the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Sail on to Luxor. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

6. Day 6 Luxor East Bank

   Walk the Avenue of Sphinxes to Luxor Temple and explore the vast Karnak Temple Complex. Overnight on board in Luxor. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

7. Day 7 Luxor West Bank and sleeper train

   Disembark and tour the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening board the sleeper train back to Cairo. (Breakfast)

8. Day 8 Cairo at leisure

   Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure, or join an optional full-day tour to Alexandria. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

9. Day 9 Departure

   After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home. (Breakfast)
