This policy explains what happens if you cancel or change a confirmed booking with Silk Road Tours. The specific conditions in your written proposal take precedence where they differ.
Tours and packages in Egypt
- 30 days or more before travel: full refund minus bank charges.
- 15–29 days before travel: 25% of the package price is charged.
- 7–14 days before travel: 50% is charged.
- Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% is charged.
Day tours and transportation
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the service. Later cancellations or no-shows are charged in full.
Flights, visas, Hajj and Umrah
Airline tickets follow the fare rules of the airline. Visa fees are non-refundable once submitted. Hajj and Umrah programs follow the cancellation conditions of the program and Saudi regulations, which will be stated in your proposal.
Peak season and special events
Bookings over Christmas, New Year, Eid and other peak periods may carry stricter supplier conditions; these will be stated in your proposal.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made within 14 working days using the original payment method where possible.

Send your cancellation in writing to info@silkroadegypt.com or by WhatsApp, quoting your booking reference.
