1. Day 1 Arrival in Cairo

   We meet you at Cairo airport with your visa, help you through passport control and transfer you to your hotel.

2. Day 2 Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum

   Meet your program director, then visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Chephren and Mykerinus — with entry to one pyramid's burial chamber and a camel ride — and the Great Sphinx. BBQ lunch, a papyrus gallery, and the Grand Egyptian Museum with Tutankhamun's complete collection. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

3. Day 3 Hurghada: aquarium, Seascope and city tour

   In Hurghada, visit the Grand Aquarium with its shark tunnel and 1,200 animals. After lunch, a 2-hour Seascope trip over the coral reef, then a city tour with the New Marina and the fish market. Dinner and overnight in Hurghada (soft all-inclusive).

4. Day 4 Hurghada beach day

   A free day on the Red Sea: relax on the beach or by the pool. Overnight in Hurghada (soft all-inclusive).

5. Day 5 Hurghada to Luxor — Karnak and Luxor Temples

   Breakfast box and transfer to Luxor (about 3 hours). Board your 5-star Nile cruise, lunch on board, then visit Karnak — the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall and the obelisks — and Luxor Temple. Evening horse-carriage ride. Dinner and overnight on board.

6. Day 6 Luxor West Bank

   Optional sunrise hot-air balloon ride. Visit the Valley of the Kings with the tomb of Tutankhamun, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and dinner on board.

7. Day 7 Edfu and Kom Ombo

   Horse carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple of Haroeris and Sobek with its mummified crocodiles. Afternoon tea on deck while sailing to Aswan, then a galabeya party.

8. Day 8 Abu Simbel and felucca

   Breakfast box and excursion to the Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, watching the sunrise over the desert. In the afternoon, a felucca ride across the Nile to a Nubian village at sunset. Dinner and overnight on board.

9. Day 9 Aswan and flight to Cairo

   Check out of the cruise and visit Philae Temple, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, with lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo.
